About Dr. Subhash Gupta
Prof (Dr.) Subash Gupta is one of the most renowned expert in the field of Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary and Liver Transplant Surgery. Having graduated from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), he further completed his specialization in Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Surgery under the tutelage of the reputed surgeon, Prof. Samiran Nundy. He has worked as a HPB oncology surgeon at Queens Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham and St. James's University Hospital, Leeds (UK) for 6 years. In his extensive medical experience, Dr. Subhash has performed more than 300 Whipple's procedure and over 3000 liver surgeries. He is presently the Chairman of the Max Centre for Liver and Biliary Surgery where over 200 transplants are carried out annually, with equal number of complex HPB cases.
