About Dr. Rakesh K Khazanchi
Dr. Rakesh K. Khazanchi is a leading plastic surgeon who has a vast experience of over 25 years in the field of plastic and cosmetic surgery.He has completed his primary medical education and specialization degree from the reputed institution of the country. He further obtained Fellowship in Microsurgery from St. Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne, Australia. He was brilliant in academics and has received Gold Medal by Punjab University, Chandigarh during MBBS.His expertise lies in reconstructive microsurgery, head & neck reconstruction, re-implantation of amputated parts and treatment of vascular malformations.He has served as the Secretary General of the 15th World Congress of the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS) 2009.Dr. Khazanchi has been credited for undertaking twenty-two national and international research projects. He has published over 60 research papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals and has 4 chapters in textbooks.
