About Dr. Nitin Sood
Dr. Nitin Sood is leading hematologist working at one of the top-tier hospitals in India, Medanta The Medicity. He has a rich clinical experience of more than 16 years in the field of hematology and hemato-oncology. His special interest lies in the bone marrow transplant and treatment of blood cancers and disorders including leukemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, thalassemia, sickle cell anemia and aplastic anemia amongst others. After completing his post-graduation from premier medical institutions in India, Dr. Sood pursued further medical education from internationally acclaimed medical facilities in United Kingdom. He has obtained a Fellowship from Royal College of Pathologists in Pathology as well as Membership in Hemato oncology from the same. He has obtained advanced training in Hemato-oncology from General Medical Council, UK. Dr. Sood is a renowned specialist who has been the recipient of a bursary by UK Myeloma Forum American Society of Hematology in 2011 and a First Prize awarded by British Society of Hematology in the year 2009. He is a member of many reputed medical association and organizations in India and abroad, including American Society of Hematology, UK Myeloma Forum and several others.
