About Dr. Kayhan Turan
Dr. Kayhan Turan, MD, is a pioneering orthopedic surgeon with expertise in robotic and kinematic joint replacement surgeries. He has been the Director of the Robotic Orthopedic Surgery Center since 2016 and leads as the President of the Orthopedic Robotic Surgery Association. Known for performing the first robotic knee and hip replacement surgeries in Turkey, Dr. Turan has conducted over 2,000 successful robotic joint replacement procedures to date.Dr. Turan is highly regarded for his innovative work in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgeries and advanced prosthetic techniques. As a leader in the field, he continues to train orthopedic specialists from Turkey and around the world at the T Orthopedics Academy, where he is also the director.

- Dr. Turan started his medical career as a Research Assistant in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Uludag University in 1993. He gained international experience during his time at the Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago, where he worked closely with renowned surgeons such as Dr. James Hill and Dr. Gordon Nuber, specializing in sports orthopedics and shoulder surgeries.
