About Dr. Manav Wadhawan
Dr. Manav Wadhawan is highly renowned Gastroenterologist in India who is widely recognized as a pioneer in the evolution of HBIg free regimens in HBV related Liver Transplants. He has also been involved in innovating multiple techniques to negotiate difficult biliary strictures in this setting. His areas of interest in Hepatology include liver transplant, complicated and difficult ERCPs. Dr. Wadhawan was worked at leading medical institutes in the country including prominent names such as All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Fortis Escorts Hospital, New Delhi and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH), Delhi. He is credited for his role in establishing a very successful Transplant program in Indraprastha Apollo Hospital. Currently, he is the Director of Gastroenterology Department at BLK-MAX Institute for Digestive & Liver Diseases.
