About Dr. Gaurav Mahajan
Dr Gaurav Mahajan is an experienced specialist in the field of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. In his over 20 years of medical career, he has worked in prominent hospitals of Delhi and NCR including renowned names such as Indraprastha Apollo hospital, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Metro Heart Institute Noida.He has obtained his primary medical education and specializations in General surgery and Cardiac surgery from premier institutes of the country. Dr Mahajan has received comprehensive training in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at Apollo Hospital for 3 years. He has also worked at many reputed Cardiac Institutes in Punjab. Dr. Mahajan is a life member of prominent associations including Indian Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons, Indian Medical Association and ECMO Society of India.He has a special interest in Valve Replacement and Repair Redo Coronary and Valve Surgery, along with Minimally Invasive CABG, surgery for adult and congenital heart diseases and heart failure surgery. Apart from various types of cardiac surgeries, he also has a keen interest in intensive care of post-operative patients.
