Dr. Mukesh Goel is a leading heart surgeon in Delhi, currently working at one of the top hospitals in the country – Indrapastha Apollo. He has an experience of 15 years in the field of cardiac surgery and possesses expertise in various kinds of heart procedures, including Cardiac By-Pass Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Minimally Invasive Heart Valve Surgery and Valve Replacement and Repair. He holds the credit for established cardiovascular surgery unit as chief cardiovascular surgeon at Asian Inst Of Medical Sciences and the cardiac surgery unit (part of Medanta) at Delhi Heart Institute, Punjab, where 100 successful procedures are conducted every year. He was also involved in starting the programs/units for minimally invasive cardiac surgery techniques and repair of aortic dissection (aneurysm) at Asian Inst of Medical Sciences.Dr. Mukesh Goel has performed more than 3000 heart surgeries in his exemplary career, including procedures such as Bypass surgery (off & on pump), Valve surgery (repair/ replacement), Bentalls’ operation, Minimally invasive cardiac surgery (MICS), LVAD placement and heart transplants.He also has an extensive experience in cardiac procedures such as high-risk CABG in patients having very poor heart function, obese women, renal failure patients (on dialysis), older patients and those with COPD.
