Dr. Anirban Deep Banerjee is a distinguished surgeon with more than 18 years of rich experience in the field of neurosurgery. He is an acknowledged expert in the area of Stereotactic & Functional Neurosurgery as well as Skull-base neurosurgery. He has performed more than 400 neuro-modulation surgeries and over 150 Deep Brain Stimulation surgeries in his medical career.He is a renowned pioneer neurosurgeon, credited with several innovations in the field of skull-base neurosurgery for treatment of difficult cases of brain tumours and vascular anomalies. He is also credited with many firsts including: establishing East India's first advanced Movement Disorder Clinic and a state-of-the-art Neuromodulation & Functional Neurosurgery at Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata, which is a first-of-its-kind and a center of excellence.
